BACKGROUND
The Powerchute is a resistance training chute for baseball, golf and several other sports. The original design was developed with the help of future MLB hall of famer Barry Larkin. Unlike weights that are added to baseball bats or golf clubs to help develop swing STRENGTH, the Powerchute’s patented design is the only product proven to improve your swing SPEED.
CHALLENGE
Powerchute developed a great product that is quickly appreciated by any athlete that tries it, but they were struggling to get the word out with a relatively limited budget.
STRATEGY
Harvest Growth was hesitantly given a very limited marketing budget because dozens of other tactics had been unsuccessfully tried with other marketing agencies before at the expense of hundreds of thousands of dollars. With Harvest Growth, a paid social media campaign was started with one simple video and $500/week in media.
RESULTS
Powerchute saw IMMEDIATE success on Facebook and Instagram, delivering over a 4.0 ROI. Later, as the campaign grew organically (paying for itself), more videos were produced to grow the ROI at an increased spend level significantly higher than the original test.
