Welcome to the HG blog post series, #MeetTeamHG, where we will be posting an interview with each person on our executive team!
Jazmin joined the Harvest Growth team as Project Manager in May of 2021. She went to Columbia College Chicago and received her Bachelors in Advertising Art Direction. While in school, she worked for Barneys New York styling clients! She thrives working on a team full of passionate people, which is why she loves Harvest Growth! She moved from Chicago to Denver in August of 2020. In her free time, she enjoys doing the activities that brought her here — anything outdoors from hiking to camping to fishing! If you want to talk to Jazmin about things she loves, talk to her about fashion, music, or houseplants!
Learn more about Jazmin in her team interview below!
How long have you been in the marketing/advertising industry?
While working on my degree, I did a marketing internship for a year, focusing on PR writing! I am so excited to be continuing my professional career with Harvest Growth!
What advice would you give yourself if you could go back to Day 1 of your career?
Have confidence in everything you do and go for EVERYTHING you think is right for you. Life is short, and you need to love not only what you do professionally but in all aspects of life. Apply for that job, hike that trail, and eat those Hot Cheetos if that's what you please!
Where did you grow up?
Most of my childhood was spent around Arizona and then Illinois! The midwest is truly a special place, but I need the mountains in my life.
Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
I don’t get this currently, but I got told I looked a lot like Amanda Bynes when I was younger!
Favorite recent brand experience?
Aimé Leon Dore. Not only are their products beautiful, but so is their presentation. Romantic and simplistic.
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
“This Could Use Some Hot Sauce!” — The Autobiography of Jazmin Thomas, Just a Girl Trying to Spice Up Life.
“Yo, Adrian!”—Rocky Balboa
Least favorite chore?
Folding/putting away laundry is the worst! I would rather clean a toilet.
If you could go to any concert (dead or alive), who would it be?
I would have loved the chance to see Patsy Cline. As a baby, my mom said that I would cry because I was scared of the tone in her voice. I am still crying, but now it’s because I am completely mesmerized by it!
What is your hidden talent?
Tap dancing. I am no pro, but I still have some tricks up my sleeve!
Least favorite word?
What would you do if you won $1,000,000?
In no specific order!! Buy a farm. Buy my mom a farm. Donate. Invest. Travel.
