COMPANY WAS ACQUIRED AFTER A SUCCESSFUL DRTV AND ECOMMERCE CAMPAIGN

BACKGROUND

ESPRO Sports Cleaner was developed by Steve Dean, a former University of Alabama football player and executive in a chemical company. Steve noticed a gap in the cleaning products market in that no cleaner was targeted at cleaning the stains and odors from sports uniforms.

CHALLENGE

ESPRO Sports Cleaner secured distribution in every Wal Mart in America, but they were struggling to maintain distribution as awareness for their single-SKU brand was low.

STRATEGY

Harvest Growth was hired to develop a direct-response television (DRTV) marketing campaign to help defray advertising costs and grow direct-to-consumer and retail sales.

RESULTS

With the help of a strong DRTV and e-commerce marketing campaign, ESPRO Sports successfully grew their retails sales and overall brand awareness, and the company was acquired in 2019 by Jelmar Products, the makers of CLR.
